About

The Democratic Republic of Congo

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is a vast country in Central Africa, the second-largest on the continent and the 11th-largest in the world, with a population of approximately 109 million. The capital, Kinshasa, is the largest city, and French is the official language, though over 200 languages are spoken across the nation.

The DRC is divided into 26 provinces, with Lubumbashi as the second-largest city, located in the southeastern part of the country near the Zambian border. While French is also the official language in Lubumbashi, Kiswahili is the most widely spoken language, bridging communication between people from different linguistic backgrounds.

Our Vision

Serve The Community

The Diabetic Center will provide ambulatory primary care on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring access to essential health services for all.

Our team of skilled nurses and dietitians will offer one-on-one consultations, as well as private and group education sessions to empower patients in managing their health.

The pharmacy will supply affordable testing equipment and most prescription medications. Each visit will include blood glucose checks, a Hemoglobin A1c test every three months, and an annual diabetic eye exam conducted by an ophthalmologist.
